If you are receiving services from MORC, please take the
time to fill out the MORC Consumer Satisfaction Survey when
received in the mail.
Consumer satisfaction is a top priority at MORC. In order
to determine the level of satisfaction that individuals and
their families are experiencing with MORC services and employees,
an annual Satisfaction Survey is mailed during the month of
April to all consumers with a postage-paid return envelope
to return it in.
Completing the survey is voluntary. The survey questions
have been developed with input from consumers, Community Mental
Health agency employees, and MORC employees.
People receiving services and their families also are queried
about their satisfaction at the time that Support Coordinators
complete Periodic Reviews of Plans of Service. At the time
of the annual Person-Centered Planning meeting, individuals
and their families are given the names and telephone numbers
of the appropriate people for them to contact in the event
of a circumstance of dissatisfaction.
The results of the Consumer Satisfaction Survey are used
by the Oakland and Macomb County Community Mental Health agencies
to assist in determining how MORC is complying with county
contractual obligations. More importantly, results are used
internally at MORC to encourage and to assist staff in continually
improving supports and services to consumers.
In April 2006, the survey results show a consumer satisfaction
rating of 3.6 out of a possible 4.0.
