How we are commited to a Culture of Gentleness: Upon hire, all Quest staff are introduced to Gentle Teaching through our New Hire Orientation. At least annually, all staff are re-inserviced on Gentle Teaching and given updated training. Quest employs three Gentle Teaching Mentors who are available to work with at-risk homes and on an ongoing basis. The Mentors do two-week practicums at many of our homes. Also, Quest holds community inclusion and activities in high regard. To this end, we sponsor and fund many one on one concerts, sporting events and other activities to help build and maintain positive relationships between our staff and persons served.
