About Us

Maximizing Human Potential

MORC, Inc. is a human services organization that coordinates long-term supports for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities and the elderly in Southeast Michigan.  We  coordinate primarily Medicaid funded services that give support in all areas of life including living arrangements, daily life skills, education, employment and community integration.  The goal of our services is to empower people to maximize their potential.  MORC serves over 6,000 individuals a year throughout our network.

Our Philosophy

MORC has been a pioneer in the behavioral health field for over 40 years.  During this time, we have become known as the gold standard for person-centered practices, Self-Determination and a Culture of Gentleness.  At MORC, you are not just another client, you’re part of the family.  When you choose MORC, you will experience a personalized level of service based on your wants and needs.  We regularly go above and beyond the standard requirements to advocate for those we serve and uncover innovative ways to help you gain access to the programs you need.  Since 1986, MORC has championed a philosophy called a Culture of Gentleness that is rooted in the principles of teaching a person to feel safe, loved, loving of others and engaged with their community.  It is an important part of what drives us to welcome each person as a member of our family.

Our Network

MORC operates three locations in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties for individuals with intellectual disabilities, two Autism Centers, an Elderly Waiver and Nursing Home Transition program and a Training Program.

We also work with a network of over 300 direct service providers, the largest in the State.  Click here for our Provider Directory.
